About the area

Home to one of Sydney's best-loved wildlife parks

West Pennant Hills is home to around 16,600 residents, about 21km north-west of Sydney CBD, split between The Hills Shire and Hornsby Shire. First settled in 1796, it's one of the oldest of the nine suburbs Football Collective serves.

The suburb's best-known landmark is Koala Park Sanctuary on Castle Hill Road, open since 1930 and still drawing families in to see koalas and other native wildlife. West Pennant Hills is also home to Cumberland State Forest, the only state forest inside metropolitan Sydney.

From here it's about 9km / 18 min drive (est.) to Crestwood High School's oval in Baulkham Hills, where Football Collective trains.
