About the area

The Hills Shire's newest suburb, right next door

Norwest is the youngest of the nine suburbs Football Collective serves, officially proclaimed on 29 June 2018. With a population of around 4,700, it's also the smallest, about 35km north-west of Sydney CBD and part of The Hills Shire.

Norwest is genuinely the civic heart of the region too: The Hills Shire Council's own chambers sit at 3 Columbia Court, Norwest. The suburb is also home to Norwest Metro Station, near Hillsong Church and across from Norwest Marketown shopping centre. From here it's about 2km / 4 min drive (est.) to Crestwood High School's oval in Baulkham Hills, where Football Collective trains.

  • The Hills Shire Council chambers, 3 Columbia Court
  • Norwest Metro Station (Sydney Metro Northwest line, opened 2019)
  • Norwest Marketown shopping centre
  • Norwest Business Park (shared with neighbouring Bella Vista)
